Dog-Harmony will host Amanda Rietheimer, CDBC and CPDT-KA on July 29th. The tickets to attend are $15 for the public and complimentary for shelter workers and volunteers. The group size is limited to 40 participants and registration is required to attend.
From 10:00am- 12:30pm, Amanda will speak about shy (fearful) and reactive dogs, as well as cover canine body language. This first seminar is applicable for any dog parents, general dog lovers and animal shelter employees or volunteers.
The second session (12:45pm – 2:00pm) will be a working lunch with Amanda, who will talk about the importance of shelter enrichment and answer any/all questions from shelter workers. This session is open to all, but the priority will be given to shelter employees and volunteers.
