DESCRIPTION:Join Dog-Harmony and the Walton County Coastal Library for Bark for Books—a tail-waggingly fun way for kids to build confidence by reading aloud to a friendly therapy dog! \nHeld every Wednesday from 3:30–4:30 PM\, September 24 through November 12\, this unique literacy program gives children the chance to practice their reading skills in a calm\, pressure-free environment—paired with one of our trained therapy dogs. \nReading to a nonjudgmental\, furry friend helps children improve fluency\, build self-esteem\, and develop a lifelong love of reading. \nThis program is made possible through the generous support of the St. Joe Community Foundation. \n\n📍 Location: Walton County Coastal Library\n📆 Wednesdays\, Sept. 24 – Nov. 12\n⏰ 3:30–4:30 PM\n\nPlease call the library directly (850-267-2809) to sign up for this complimentary program to encourage child literacy with the help of our amazing volunteer therapy dog teams.
