Miramar Beach, Fla. – For the entire month of May, store leadership at Winn-Dixie’s Miramar Beach location has selected Dog-Harmony to receive a $1 donation from every purchase of the $2.99 Winn-Dixie Community Bag.

The Community Bag Program facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the vicinities where shoppers live and work. More than $430,000 has been donated to over 9,000 local nonprofits since the Program launched in February 2019.

“We have been selected as a Community Bag program beneficiary by Winn-Dixie several years in a row,” said Nancy Bown, Founder of Dog-Harmony. “Donations from this program directly support our mission to enrich the bond between dogs and humans through humane education and therapy dog programs in our community. Our goal is to keep dogs out of overcrowded shelters and in their forever homes.”
