Upcoming Kids & Dog-Harmony Programs at local libraries during summer 2024

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey into the world of dogs and learn how to communicate better with your furry friends? We at Dog-Harmony are thrilled to introduce this summer’s lineup for our publicly available children’s programs, specially crafted to educate young minds about the fascinating language of dogs and promote safer interactions with them.

Our workshops are tailor-made for kids aged 7 to 12 years old, packed with fun and interactive activities that will leave them wagging their tails with excitement! Through a captivating 20-minute PowerPoint presentation, we dive into the world of canine body language, teaching children how to recognize signs of stress in dogs and understand what they're trying to tell us.

But wait, there's more! After the presentation, it's time for some hands-on action. Children get the chance to interact with either a lovable therapy dog or, if preferred, a friendly volunteer dressed up as a furry friend. Rest assured, our canine companions are all certified by Intermountain Therapy Animals and carry insurance for extra safety and peace of mind.

As a bonus, each child receives a coloring sheet packed with key information from the presentation to take home and share with their families, spreading the love and knowledge even further.

Best of all, our programs come at no cost to you, thanks to the generous support of grants and private donations.
