Dog-Harmony’s late-summer Therapy Dog Classes & Testing series helps dog-and-handler teams train, prepare, and complete certification requirements through Intermountain Therapy Animals.
Join Dog-Harmony for a interactive, instructor-led R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) workshop via Zoom on September 19! Designed for human handlers, this session covers everything you need to know to work toward becoming a nationally registered therapy team. Registration is $80 and includes your official training manual, handouts, and lifetime access to future refresher classes. Course materials will be mailed to you prior to the event.
Dog-Harmony therapy dog Chloe joins Story Time at the DeFuniak Springs Public Library on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. Kids ages 3 to 5 learn about farms and dogs' roles, then color. Sign up directly with the library here.
